A few years ago, Kathy Rash, a talented quilter and grandma, purchased the sweet Halloween picture book The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt for her daughter’s classroom. The story is about a little ghost who feels different because he’s too heavy to fly like his friends.
Kathy had the sweetest idea of creating a quilt to match the story! She had so much fun choosing fabrics, cutting out the eyes, and even having a neighborhood child try it on so she could get the face just right
Recently, sixth graders had a wonderful time listening to the story alongside Mrs. Thorpe’s first graders. There were plenty of giggles and smiles as they enjoyed this special story together!
