In honor of World Autism Acceptance Day, we are proud to spotlight some of the incredible students in the Davis School District who are making a positive impact in our community. These students inspire us every day with their unique talents and strengths.

• Alex, 15, is the big brother to triplets and has shown great resilience despite challenges. He loves Legos, Hot Wheels, and camping, and his biggest wish is to be treated just like everyone else. Alex’s big heart and determination make him an inspiring young man.

• Cooper, a 7th grader, brings positivity and joy wherever he goes. A big fan of BYU sports, Cooper can name mascots and fight songs for every college team. His enthusiasm for life and his mantra “I’ll do my best” make him a role model for his classmates and friends.

• JaMaurion is a loving 5-year-old who enjoys spending time outdoors, especially swimming. Though he’s shy, his big heart and positive energy shine through, and he brings joy and love to everyone around him.


A photo collage of three photos.• Liduvina is a true rockstar, using a letterboard and iPad to communicate and advocate for other children with autism. She won the national Reflections award in 2024 for her art piece, Liduvina Singing, and was crowned Junior Teen Miss Amazing in Utah. Liduvina is passionate about helping others with autism find their voice, and her efforts have earned her spots in two upcoming documentaries.

• Maddy, the third-born of triplets, is an artistic talent with a heart of gold. She can sing, create plushies, and draw incredible pictures. Maddy is also an advocate for her triplet brother Mason, and she takes amazing care of him, showing her deep love and compassion every day.

• Marshall, a kindergartener, communicates using an AAC device and loves to spin, run, and watch PBS Kids. His excitement for learning and his joyful spirit make him a favorite among his classmates and teachers.

• Mason, the first-born of triplets, has a remarkable memory and loves Disney, trains, and video games. He’s known for giving hugs and sharing compliments, making everyone feel special. Mason’s loving and joyful nature brings warmth and happiness to everyone he meets.

• Ryker is known for his infectious sense of humor, love for dancing, and creating comic books. His confidence and joyful spirit make him the coolest guy around, spreading positivity and creativity to everyone he meets.

• Winston, 13, has an amazing memory and can quote Curious George, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Despicable Me with ease. Known for his honesty and humor, he loves collecting sticks and planning family vacations. His bright personality keeps everyone around him laughing and smiling.

These students exemplify the power of embracing individuality, creativity and positivity. As we celebrate World Autism Acceptance Day, we honor their unique abilities and the joy they bring to our community.
