Hello Creekside Elementary!

My name is Jenny Schow, and I am excited to begin my 2nd year as principal at Creekside Elementary. Welcome back to our families, and we are so excited to meet those who will be new to Creekside this year.

This year marks my 21st year in education. I have been fortunate to work as a 6th grade teacher, middle school Special Education teacher, and Elementary Special Education teacher. I earned my bachelor’s in Elementary and Special Education through Utah State University and my master’s in educational leadership through Western Governors University.

I grew up in southwest Wyoming, and I love movies, music, dogs, the Denver Broncos, going to concerts, the mountains, and good books. My husband and I have two young adult sons and two bonus sons with four legs (our dogs, Toby and Scrappy).

I have been fortunate to learn from amazing educators, supervisors, support staff, administrators, and specialists during my educational career. I work hard every day to focus on doing what is best for kids and supporting the people around me as they strive to do the same. I strongly believe that one of the most important things we do as educators is communicate – with students, with colleagues, and with the families who entrust their children to us. I also believe that every individual, student or adult, has the right to be treated with dignity and respect and has the potential to learn and achieve great things. I am so thankful for the great year we had last year at Creekside. It is my goal to continue supporting the students, staff, and community at Creekside as we achieve great things together.

Please reach out with any questions, concerns, or to say hello. As you may see in our school newsletter, connection is very important to me. With that….

Thank you, and

STAY CONNECTED!
